CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS INITIATED AGAINST AZATAMTUTYUN DAILY BASED ON APPLICATION OF ZARUHI POSTANJIAN

YEREVAN, JULY 29, NOYAN TAPAN. Based on an application of the member
of the RA National Assembly’s "Heritage" faction Zaruhi Postanjian,
criminal proceedings were initiated against Azatamtutyun (Liberalism)
daily under the RA Criminal Code’s Article 136 (Insult), NT was
informed by the the press service of the RA Police.

To recap, Z. Postanjian had applied to the law enforcement bodies with
the request to open a criminal case against the daily for spreading
libelous information insulting her person and dignity.
