FOUR ACCUSED ON ‘CASE OF SEVEN’ RELEASED IN COURT ROOM ON AMNESTY

ArmInfo. Four accused on the ‘Case of seven’ have been released in
the court room on amnesty.
As spokeswoman of the Court of Cassation of Armenia Alina Yengoyan
told ArmInfo, court judgments were passed today with respect to the
four accused: Alexander Arzumanyan, Hakop Hakopyan, Souren Sirunyan
and Myasnik Malkhasyan. According to the judgments of the court of
Kentron and Nork Marash Yerevan communities, Arzumanyan, Hakopyan and
Malkhasyan have been sentenced to 5 years of imprisonment and Sirunyan
– to 4 years of imprisonment. However, in view of the decision on
amnesty, made by the Armenian parliament the last week, all of them
were released in the court room.
