summit held in Rome on the occasion of the G8, Aram I Catholicos
of Cilicia Great House met with Italian FM Franco Frattini,
Antilias Catholicosate’s press service reported to a PanARMENIAN.Net
correspondent. During the meeting, parties discussed current situation
in Near East, political developments between Iran and Israel and
post-electoral situation in Lebanon. At the end of the meeting,
Aram I presented Italian FM with a book on Armenian Genocide.
