2.5% INFLATION RECORDED IN ARMENIA IN JAN-MAY 2009

YEREVAN, June 19. /ARKA/. National Statistical Service of Armenia says
2.5% inflation was recorded in Armenia in Jan-May 2009, compared with
the same period a year earlier.

According to the statistical report, consumer prices grew 5.5% in
Jan-May 2009, compared with December 2008.

In the state budget, Armenia’s GDP is planned at 9.2%. ($1 = AMD
367.11).
