YEREVAN, MAY 31, NOYAN TAPAN. Acts of violence against journalists
covering Yerevan Council of Elders elections of May 31 continue.
According to the Armenian National Congress, violence was used to
correspondent of 168 Zham newspaper Armine Avetian and observer of
Transparency International NGO Sona Ayvazian, as well as correspondent
of tert.am website Lilit Tadevosian. Journalists witnessed stuffing of
a ballot box with nearly 100 ballot papers.
