SUPERVISION REPORT ON BAKU-TBILISI-KARS RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION WAS SIGNED

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia signed a supervision
report on Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway construction.
The report was signed by Turkey’s Transportation Minister Binali
Yildirim, Azerbaijan Transportation Minister Ziya Mamedov and
Georgian Economy Minister Lasha Zhvaniya. The project will be
launched in 2011. One million passengers and 6,5 tons of cargo will
be transported at the first stage of project launch. Total costs
for Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway exceeds $600 million, Cihan Turkish
information agency reported.
