PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA MEETS WITH UK SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR SOUTH CAUCASUS

ArmInfo. Today President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met with UK
Special Representative for South Caucasus Brian Fall, reports the
press service of the President.
Sargsyan highly appreciated the UK’s support for Armenia’s reforms.
He welcomed the proposal of the UK to hold regular consultations
between the foreign ministries of the two states. The guests asked
the president to express his opinion of different statements by
Turkish officials concerning Armenia-Turkish rapprochement and the
Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
Sargsyan said that any attempt of Turkey to interfere in the
Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks would hinder the process.
Fall said that the UK supported the efforts of the OSCE MG and
advocated resolution based on international principles.
