Azerbaijani side hands body of Bad Tadevosian over to Karabakh side by
mediation of ICRC
STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 6, NOYAN TAPAN. The body of Bad Tadevosian, a
citizen of Nagorno Karabakh, was handed over to the Armenian side at
the village of Bash Karvend on February 6 – by the mediation of the
ICRC Stepanakert Office. According to a press release of the NKR’s
State Commission for Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, on
February 5 the Azerbaijani side expressed its readiness to hand the
body over to Karabakh side.
26-year-old Bad Tadevosian, in a state of intoxication, was trying to
move to Azerbaijani positions in the direction of Aghdam settlement on
January 26. As the press service of the NKR defence ministry reported,
the attempts of contractual servicemen to stop him were unsuccessful.
The Azerbaijani side opened fire in the direction of Armenian
positions. As a result of the skirmish, B. Tadevosian and a 26-year-old
contractual serviceman, Private Arkady Hakobian were killed.
