Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan was
elected President of the Council of Yerevan State University of
Economics. Abrahamyan candidature was put forward by the University’s
ex-rector Grigor Kirakosyan. 27 members voted for Abrahamyan during
the secret ballot.
Note that Serzh Sargsyan heads the Council of Yerevan State University.
