PROCEDURE FOR MONITORING OF FLORA AND FAUNA SET IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, January 22. /ARKA/. Armenian Government approved the procedure
for monitoring of flora and fauna in Armenia at its Thursday sitting.
Under the procedure, objectives and facilities to be monitored are set
in the procedure, Armenian Minister for Environment Aram Harutiunyan
reported.
The state monitoring of flora is to establish the status of natural
habitats of plants and the ecosystem, says the government decree.
The monitoring of fauna is carried out to ensure diversity of fauna
and to establish fauna management norms.
