ARMENIA REFUSED ON TURKEY’S DEMAND

The U.S. rock band System of A Down’s application to Eurovision 2009
was turned down. Following protest from Turkey, Armenia refused to
have the rock band represent it to the song contest. The reason is
the song of the band about the Armenian Genocide. The manager of the
band confirmed this information.
