GAS EXPORT FROM IRAN TO ARMENIA TO START ON 13 OCTOBER

Arminfo. Gas export from Iran to Armenia will start on 13 October. As
director of National Iranian Gas Company [NIGC] Rasul Salmani said,
Armenia will start electric power supply to Iran on Sunday. ‘Iran is
going to deliver 1,1 bln sq/v gas to Armenia every year. First, Iran
will deliver the smaller volume of gas, but in 2009 it will reach2,3
bln sq/m. In an exchange Iran will get 3,3 bln kWt/h electric power
from Armenia’, – Salmani said, Iranian IRINN agency reported.
