Turkish President Abdullah Gul raised the issue of Karabakh conflict
at the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly.
"The Turkish initiative to create a Caucasus Stability and Cooperation
Platform will contribute to resolution of frozen conflicts in the
region, including Nagorno Karabakh", he said.
In his speech the Turkish President also spoke of the negotiation
process between the Greek and Turkish communities of Cyprus reminding
that Turkey supports all diplomatic efforts to form a joint state on
the island.
