Chairman of the National Assembly Tigran Torosyan told a press
conference today that he has presented an application on withdrawing
from the Republican Party of Armenia. He also declared about his
refusal from the position of the President of the National Assembly.
Tigran Torosyan explained his decision with a number of insurmountable
misunderstandings with the political majority of the parliament. He
noted that he will continue his activity as an independent Deputy.
