NATIONAL AND YOUTH FOOTBALL TEAMS OF ARMENIA TO PLAY AWAY MATCHES ON SEPTEMBER 9 AND 10

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 9, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenia’s national football team
(20 players) together with its chief coach Jan Poulsen left for Spain
on September 8. A Spain vs. Armenia match of the qualifying stage
of 2010 World Championship will be held in the city of Albasete on
September 10. The Public Television of Armenia will start a live
broadcast of the match at 1:00 local time.
A Turkey vs. Armenia match of under 21 footballers of the 2009
European Championship’s qualifying stage will be held in Istanbul
on September 9. Its live broadcast on Public Television channel will
start at 22:00 local time.
The Turkish youth team leads the table with 16 points. The Armenian
team is in 4th place with 10 points.
