VARDGES HOVAKIMIAN APPOINTED REGIONAL GOVERNOR OF ARARAT

GYUMRI, JUNE 13, NOYAN TAPAN. Following Article 88.1 of the RA
Constitution and taking as basis the May 6, 1997 NH-728 decree of the
RA President, the RA government made a decision in the assizes held in
Gyumri on June 12 on appointing Vardges Hovakimian regional governor of
Ararat. This information was provided to Noyan Tapan by the Information
and Public Relations Department of the RA Government.

Before the appointment Vardges Hovakimian worked in the staff of the
State Committee of the RA Realty Cadastre as Head of "Marash" regional
subdivision.
