GURGEN YEGHIAZARIAN GOES ON HUNGER-STRIKE

Former Deputy Minister of National Security Service Gurgen
Yeghiazarian, who is presently in "Yerevan-Kentron" Penitentiary,
went on a hunger-strike today. As Arsen Babayan, Press secretary of
the RA Justice Ministry Penitentiary Department informs, Yeghiazarian
applied to the Head of "Yerevan-Kentron" Penitentiary notifying of
his permanent hunger-strike.
According to Arsen Babayan the management board of the Penitentiary has
taken all the necessary measures and Gurgen Yeghiazarian is currently
under medical supervision.
His health state is assessed to be satisfactory.
