"PRETENDER" TEAM BECOMES CHAMPION AT ARMENIA’S BRIDGE CHAMPIONSHIP

YEREVAN, JUNE 2, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenia’s bridge championship with the
participation of 4 teams was held in Yerevan on May 18 – June 1. The
"pretender" team composed of Artyom Balayan, Norayr Kalantarian,
Armen Zelenko and Ashot Keshishian won the champion’s title.
The national bridge team of Armenia has received an invitation to
compete in the First Olympiad of Intellectual Sport Games (bridge,
chess, go, international draughts and Chinese chess) to be held in
Beijing on October 3-18.
