NEGATIVE NET INVESTMENT POSITION OF ARMENIA GROWS BY 38% OR 587.57 MILLION DOLLARS IN ONE YEAR

YEREVAN, APRIL 21, NOYAN TAPAN. The net investment position of Armenia
was negative by 2 bln 133.98 mln USD in late December 2007, growing
by 38% or 587.57 mln USD as compared with late December 2006.

According to the RA National Statistical Service, the assets of Armenia
grew by 39.13% or 775.83 mln USD, while its liabilities increased by
38.63% or 1 bln 363.4 mln USD.
