ARMENIAN-NAGORNO-KARABAKH INTER-PARLIAMENTARY COMMISSION MEETS IN STEPANAKERT

STEPANAKERT, APRIL 18, ARMENPRESS: An Armenian-Nagorno-Karabakh
inter-parliamentary cooperation commission convened today in
Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh capital. Chairman of Armenian parliament,
Tigran Torosian, and other members of Armenian parliament, arrived
in Stepanakert yesterday to take part in it.
The press office of the Nagorno-Karabakh parliament told Armenpress
that Torosian and his Nagorno-Karabakh counterpart, Ashot Ghulian,
met yesterday evening in the building of the parliament and stressed
the need for boosting ties between the two parliaments.
They were said also to discuss a set of other issues related to
cooperation between the two parliaments.
The meeting was expected to discuss the conflict resolution process,
also bringing Nagorno-Karabakh legislation in line with Europeans
standards and dual citizenship issues.
