Armenian wrestler Yuri Patrikeev (120 kg) achieved the European
Champion’s title in the European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship
held in Tampre (Finland). Roman Amoyan (55 kg) became the
Vice-Champion, losing only in the final.
The head coach of the Armenian Greco-Roman style wrestling team is
Olympic Champion Levon Julfalakyan.
Yuri Patrikeev and Arman Adikyan (66 kg) have already qualified for
the Beijing Olympics.
