Politician Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan says: "Azerbaijan did its best,
by means of press and indirect political pressures, to support Levon
Ter-Petrosyan. By accumulating formations on the border zone after
March 1 events Azerbaijan firstly tried to distract the attention of
Armenian force structures and armed forces from Levon Ter-Petrosyan
and his team-members.

And secondly they intimidated that if we fail to solve our internal
political issues, to be more concrete if we don’t cede power to L.

Ter-Petrosyan, then more trials expect us on the border."
