ARMENIAN POLICE HOLD ENLARGED OPERATIONAL CONFERENCE

ArmInfo. Today the police of Armenia held an enlarged operational
conference.
The press service of the Police reports that the conference was
chaired by the chief of the police, Gen. Hayk Haroutyunyan. The key
topic was the Mar 1 disorders in Yerevan. Haroutyunyan pointed out
the mistakes committed by the police and gave specific instructions
on how to improve their efficiency. He demanded that the police be
more resolute in detecting and prosecuting the organizers of the riots.
