POLICE REFUTE RUMORS ABOUT RESIGNATION OF HAYK HARUTYUNIAN
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. The rumors about the resignation of
the chief of the RA police Hayk Harutynian and the heads of the police
do not correspond to reality, is said in the February 23 statement of
the RA police.
According to the statement, the heads and all the subunits of the
police perform their functions and are ready to give a resolute
counterblow to any attemp to disturb the public order and destabilize
the situation, preventing lack of constraint and protecting the
constitutional rights of citizens.
