PRESIDENT MET HEAD OBSERVER

Today Robert Kocharyan has met with the deputy president of the OSCE
Parliamentary Assembly Anne-Marie Lizin, the press office of the
president reports. She has arrived in Armenia to lead the observation
mission of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

The head of state emphasized the importance of the presence of
observation missions of different organizations in the presidential
election.

The president reasserted the commitment of the government to hold a
fair, transparent and compliant election and noted that sufficient
efforts have been made for this purpose.
