New Armenian-Belgian aircraft repair hangar is created in Armenia

ArmInfo. The Belgian air reconstruction plant ‘Sabena- Technics’ and
Armenia’s National air carrier will start preparing a feasibility study
of the Armenian-Belgian aircraft repair hangar on February 12,
"Armavia" Company owner, President of MIKA Armenia Trading Mikhail
Baghdasarov told ArmInfo.

He said that "Armavia-Sabena Technics" JV will be created for this
purpose. A special territory has been allocated for the hangar in
"Zvartnots" Yerevan international airport. To note, the Company’s
airpark was earlier served by "Sabena-Technics" in Brussels. The
Company’s airpark consists of four aircrafts A-320, an aircraft Boeing
737-300, as well as the airplanes of Soviet production: one IL-86
airplane and two Yak-42 airplanes, which are operated on a leasehold
basis.
