In case the working Prime Minister of Armenia Serj Sarkisyan wins
presidential elections, the pro-Armenian resolution of the Garabagh
conflict is guaranteed.
The due statement was made by spokesman for the Republican Party of
Armenia, Armenian parliamentarian Eduard Sharmazanov told a press
conference Friday.
"S.Sarkisyan is well aware of the negotiation process and if he is
elected a president, the pro-Armenian resolution will be ensured",
E.Sharmazanov said.
He noted that three regulations regarding the so called "Nagorno
Garabagh Republic" are fixed in Sarkisyan’s election program on
which he would adhere a precise position. Moreover, this refers to
the right of the people of the so-called "Nagorno Garabagh Republic"
for self-determination, existence of a common borders with Armenia
and provision of security of Armenian population of the so-called
"Nagorno Garabagh Republic".
"On all other points we are ready to cooperate with our Azerbaijani and
international counterparts and come to a normal and unbiased solution"
