10 CHESS PLAYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN WOMEN’S HIGHEST GROUP TOURNAMENT OF
ARMENIA
YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. Women’s Highest Group Championship of
Armenia will start at Tigran Petrosian Chess House on January 13. 10
players, except leading chess players Elina Danielian and Lilit
Mkrtchian, will participate in the tournament. In addition to competing
for title of the country’s champion, the participants will also compete
for the only vacant place in the national Olympic team and for the
right to take part in the European individual championship.
