230 OLD PEOPLE LIVE IN YEREVAN NORK OLD PEOPLE’S HOME
YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, NOYAN TAPAN. On December 28, first RA lady Bella
Kocharian visited Yerevan Nork Old People’s Home. 230 old people live
in the institution at present. There is a rest room, a library, a game
room in the home. As Aramayis Aloyan, the Director of the Old People’s
Home, mentioned, everything is done to organize old people’s
entertainment in an interesting way. It was mentioned that a council of
elders has been organized at the Old People’s Home, which takes part in
organization of old people’s entertainment, solving problems of food
and other issues.
Some parts of the Old People’s Home building have been repaired on the
initiative of RA Foreign Minister’s spouse, Nani Oskanian. N. Oskanian
assured that this program will be permanent.
It should be mentioned that marriage of two residents of the Old
People’s Home took place the same day, which was the seventh in that
institution.
