explain the reasons of blocking the air corridor for Yerevan-Beirut
and Yerevan-Aleppo flights, RA MFA Spokesman Vladimir Karapetian told
a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. No explanation has come yet, he said.

November 13 an Armavia-owned Yerevan-Beirut flight had to turn back
to Yerevan, since the Turkish authorities blocked the air space.

Meanwhile, a source told PanARMENIAN.Net that Turkey blocked the air
corridor for security reasons, as the route to Syria goes across the
territory controlled by Kurdish rebels.
