MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS DISCUSSED THE KARABAKH ISSUE WITH OSCE CIO MORATINOS

Issues of the Karabakh conflict resolution were discussed during
the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel
Moratinos’s meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs on Wednesday,
OSCE Press Service told Novosti-Azerbaijan.
The Co-Chairs informed the OSCE Chairman-Office about their visit to
the region in October and the results of the negotiations with the
leadership of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The mediators noted that "currently the negotiations are less intensive
because of the forthcoming presidential elections in Armenia and
Azerbaijan."
The Co-Chairs urged the parties "not to apply to such ways of conflict
resolution that can aggravate the situation and endanger the progress
reached in the Prague process.
Mr. Moratinos expressed his support to the OSCE Minsk Group activity.
