RENT FOR LAND TO BE CUT

The minister of agriculture Armo Tsatryan will be offering a proposal
on the winter wheat. The owners of privatized or rented land adjacent
to settlements will receive 35 thousand drams per hectare each. The
rest for other lands will be cut from 12,800 to 8000 drams per hectare.
According to the government decisions, the owners of land whose
crops were damaged by disasters are exempt from tax on land and
rent. In addition, they will get a compensation of 70 thousand drams
per hectare of privatized land or rented land adjacent to villages
damaged by hails or fires.
