We want to involve women in the peace political process

On May 19 the Harmony NGO held a round-table meeting at the Resource
Center of Stepanakert on the topic of women leaders. Influential women
and activists of youth organizations of Stepanakert and Shushi were
invited.

`We want to have more women engaged in the peace political process, we
try to involve women who have influence in the society,’ says the
chair of the Harmony NGO Juliette Arustamyan. `This is the second
round-table meeting held by our organization since its
establishment. We try to include new people every time. Our project
involves four meetings. In the end three active participants will be
chosen from among the participants of all the four round-table
meetings to take part in the training on conflicts later this year.’
The event was held in the framework of the Inclusion project financed
by the British International Alert organization.
