In the congratulating message to RA president Robert Kocharyan
Mr. Putin wrote, in part: "On this memorable day for our peoples
we express our gratitude to all those who celebrated victory over
fascism without sparing their lives.
I’m sure that the traditional Armenian-Russian friendship tempered
through cruel trials will continue serving as a reliable ground
for the reinforcement of our partnership relations for the sake of
prosperity of our two states."
