BACKGROUND: An Armenian born in Tehran, Guillett received her BA in
English and French Literature from the National University of Iran,
and her MS in Library Science from Simmons College in Boston, and
became a citizen of the United States. She has worked in academic and
corporate libraries in Massachusetts, Maine and Illinois, arriving in
Oak Park in 1994. She is a member of Special Libraries Association,
Oak Park Women’s Exchange, Oak Park Conservatory, and the Oak Park
Stitch & Bitch Club. She is a volunteer at the Economy Shop and the
Oak Park Conservatory. She lives in south Oak Park.
PRIORITIES Guillette lists her top three priorities as:
