Turkey: Dink Murder Suspect Confesses

A suspect held in the shooting of Armenian-Turkish journalist Hrant
Dink reportedly confessed to the killing Jan. 21. The official
Turkish news agency, Anatolia, reported that Ogun Samast confessed
after being detained by Turkish police in the Black Sea town of
Samsun on Jan. 20. Ogun reportedly expressed no regret for the
killing of Dink, who was being prosecuted on charges of "insulting
Turkishness’" for writing articles about the alleged genocide of
Armenians by Ottoman troops during World War I.
