RA PRESIDENT LEAVES FOR MOSCOW ON ONE-DAY PRIVATE VISIT

YEREVAN, JANUARY 17, NOYAN TAPAN. On January 17, RA President Robert
Kocharian left for Moscow on one-day private visit. NT was informed
about this from RA President’s Press Office.
Referring to Russian sources, radio Liberty reports that R.Kocharian
will have a meeting with RF President Vladimir Putin. The situation
in Armenia connected with the forthcoming parliamentary elections
will be discussed during the meeting. It is also planned to discuss
energy issues, including those connected with Gazprom.
According to the same source, R.Kocharian’s visit had been prepared
since December 22 of previous year.
