THIS YEAR FIRST ELECTIONS OF LOCAL SELF-GOVERNMENT BODIES TAKE PLACE IN SYUNIK

KAPAN, JANUARY 16, NOYAN TAPAN. The this year first elections of the
local self-government bodies took place on January 14 in the marz
of Syunik, in the rural communities of Antarashat and Dzorastan,
the region of Kapan. As the Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed by
Ramela Hakobian, the Secretary of No38 district electoral commission
of Syunik, 61 people of the 74 voters of the community of Dzorastan
participated in the vote unanimously voted for the only nominated
candidate, acting village head, non-partisan Avetis Avetisian.

All the 4 non-partisan candidates nominated for the councilor of the
community of Antarashat were elected.
