Tax revenue indicators will exceed 1 billion Armenian drams in the year
2007, deputy head of tax services, Armen Alaverdyan said. In his words,
revenues from income tax for the last 5 years have doubled. However,
he said this indicator does not meet the demands of the public and our
international rating. “A tradition must be developed in the public
to voluntarily pay taxes,” he said. He also said taxes will not go
up in the year 2007.
