UK FIRM OFFICIALLY GIVES ARMENIAN POWER GRID TO RUSSIAN COMPANY

The [British] Midland Resources Holding Ltd has officially handed the
management of the Electricity Networks of Armenia to Russia’s Inter
RAO UES [Unified Energy Systems of Russia].
Russia’s Inter RAO UES manages more than 20 facilities in Europe and
Asia. The company promises to overhaul the Electricity Networks of
Armenia with new methods and investment programmes.
