GEORGIA, ARMENIA AGREE ON COOPERATION IN PENITENTIARY SYSTEM

Georgia and Armenia have agreed on cooperation in the penitentiary
sector.
Geo Justice Ministry reported to InterpressNews that Georgia’s Deputy
Minister of Justice Givi Mikanadze and Armenia’s Ambassador at large
Hrach Silvanyan have discussed chances of enhancing cooperation
between the two states.
Geo Deputy Minister voiced hope that the sides would establish tight
cooperation in the spheres of penitentiary, probation and the verdict
execution.
The Armenian official hailed the initiative of establishing cooperation
between the penitentiary systems of the two countries and promised
to contribute to the exchange visits.
