The “Hayrussgasard” has finished the Iran-Armenia gas-pipeline
contract land works of 2.7 million dollars with the Iranian “Arvandam”
organization. The General Engineer of “Hayrussgasard” Ashot Hovsepian
has told about this to the Arminfo correspondent. He also told that
by the Organization’s workers a 22.5km long trench was dug.
The length of the Armenian part of the gas pipe-line is 41 km from
Meghri to Kajaran. The left land works and the installation of the
pipe-line will be carried out by the Iranian side, mentioned the
engineer. It is planned to finish that part of the construction until
the end of this year.
