ARMENIAN NATIONAL TEAM SUFFERS NO LOSSES AT EUROPEAN BOXING CHAMPIONSHIP FOR PRESENT
PLOVDIV, JULY 17, NOYAN TAPAN. European Boxing Championship has
started in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv. 9 sportsmen take part in
the championship from Armenia. Hovhannes Danielian (48 kg), Samvel
Matevosian (69 kg) and Andranik Hakobian (75 kg) won in the first
competitions. Vachagan Avagian (51 kg), Edgar Manukian (57 kg),
Hrachya Jafaghian (60 kg) and Artak Malumian (81 kg) will
perform on July 17.
Derenik Gabrielian, head of the Armenian delegation, Vice-Chairman of
European Boxing Union, Chairman of the judges commission, informed
NT correspondent, that the Armenian national team has no losses for
the present.
