ARMENIA TAKES ‘TIME-OUT’ IN PEACE TALKS

Baku, September 5, AssA-Irada — The next meeting of Azerbaijani
and Armenian foreign ministers may take place after proposals are
made by co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group mediating the conflict
settlement, foreign minister Elmar Mammadyarov has told journalists.
Mammadyarov said that Armenia has requested time to consider the
results of the Kazan meeting of the two countries’ presidents. The
mediators are expected to visit the region, he added.*
