YEREVAN, AUGUST 17, NOYAN TAPAN. The RA Defence Ministry spokesman
Seyran Shahsuvarian dispelled the rumors that an Azeri sergeant
was taken prisoner by the Armenian armed forces. The Azerbaijani
television company ATV reported that Ramil Khudaverdiev, a sergeant
of the Azerbaijani army was recently taken prisoner by the Armenian
armed forces.
