AZERBAIJAN MAY BE EXCLUDED FROM EU NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAM
Referring to diplomatic sources, the Baku based Zerkalo stated
recently that Azerbaijan may be excluded from the EU neighborhood
program, if the November 6 parliamentary elections do not keep in line
with the international criteria. Heikki Talvittie, EU Special
Representative, recently visited Baku, met with the Azeri authorities,
the opposition and the representatives of NGOs. The Finn diplomat said
that he will pay two other visits to Baku before the elections.
