Chaos in Azeri army led to Armenian occupation of Lacin – former commander

The suddenness of the attack and rapid advance of Armenian troops
were the reasons behind the occupation of Nagornyy Karabakh’s Lacin
District in 1992, then an Azerbaijani regiment commander, Arif Pasayev,
has said.
Speaking in the “Point of View” programme on ANS TV, Pasayev said
that chaos and confusion in the Azerbaijani army had resulted in the
occupation of the district by Armenians.
