UNDP AND NORWAY SIGN AGREEMENT ON ALLOCATION OF 10 MLN USD FOR
CAUCASUS DEVELOPMENT
YEREVAN, MAY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. UNDP Assistant Administrator Zefirine
Diabrais and Norway’s Foreign Minister Jan Petersen signed on May 9 a
memorandum on mutual understanding, according to which Norway will
allocate 10 mln USD for the implementation of UNDP programs in
Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia in the next three years. Norway will
finance programs in the spheres of democratic governance, energy and
sustainable development. Programs have not been specified yet and will
be funded after being approved by Parliament of Norway.
