Iranian Armenians getting ready for Aram I Catholicos visit to Iran

YEREVAN (YERKIR) – Cilicia Catholicos Aram I is set to visit Iran on
May 12-25, Armenpress reported. He will travel to Tehran, Arak, Nor
Jugha (Spahan), Tebriz and Urmia to meet with the Armenian community
of Iran.
He will start his trip with a prayer at the St. Sargis church of
Tehran, then he will lay a wreath at the mausoleum of Ayatollah
Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Committees
to organize the trip of Aram I have been set in Tehran, Atrpatakan
and Spahan.
