ARMENIAN PRIME MINISTER, ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH LEADER TO ATTEND
POPE JOHN PAUL II FUNERAL
YEREVAN, April 5. /ARKA/. Armenian governmental delegation headed by
PM Andranik Margaryan will fly to Italy to attend Pope John Paul II
funeral ceremony. According to Armenian Government’s information,
Armenian Ambassador to Italy Ruben Shugaryan, Armenian Ambassador
to France and Vatican Eduard Nalbandyan and Deputy Foreign Minister
Armen Bayburdyan are included in the delegation. Armenian Apostolic
Church leader Garegin II is to attend the funeral with the Armenian
delegation.
Interment in a crypt below the St. Peter’s Basilica is set for Friday.
